Let's keep this simple.

I believe that privacy is important. Because of that, I built this site differently than most of the web.

What I Collect

Minimal Data.

I respect your privacy and only collect what is necessary to improve this site.

  • Cloudflare: This site is protected by Cloudflare. They inject a small piece of code (a "beacon") to help monitor the performance and security of the site. This does not use cookies and does not track your personal browsing history across the web. It just helps me keep the site fast and safe.
  • Analytics: I use Google Analytics to understand how visitors engage with my site. This helps me improve the content and user experience.
  • Cookies: This site uses cookies to support Google Analytics.
  • No Mailing List: I don't have a newsletter for this site, so I don't collect your email address.

The Contact Form

If you use the contact form to send me a message, I will obviously receive your name, email address, and whatever you type in the message box.

  • I use this information only to read your message and reply to you.
  • I do not add you to any marketing lists.
  • I do not sell, trade, or give your information to anyone else.

External Links

Sometimes I link to other websites (like YouTube, GitHub, or my other projects). Once you leave this site, I can't control what those other sites do. If the site is not one of mine, they probably do track you, so check their privacy policies if you're concerned.

Some of my other projects do have mailing lists. These are always double opt-in to ensure it's really you subscribing. Each email I send includes an unsubscribe link in the footer, so it's easy to leave at any time.

Changes

If I ever decide to change this policy (like if I start a newsletter), I will update this page clearly and honestly.
