Online Status places an icon and text on your blog showing your AIM online status.

Update Instructions from 1.0 to current version


If you are running version 1.0 or lower. Please log into your Wordpress Admin section, go to plugins and disable it. Then remove the file online-status.php from your plugins directory. This will not affect any of the settings you have already made. I've just been rearranging things.


To install:
  1. Download to your wp-content directory.
  2. untar using tar -zxvf wp-online-status.tgz. This will place online-status.php in your plugins dir. OR unzip wp-online-status.zip using your favorite zip utility. Place the entire blogbling directory in your plugins directory.
  3. Go to http://www.aim.com/presence/main.adp and register for a key.
  4. Active the plugin.
  5. Go to the options page, click on the AIM option and set the options.
  6. Place <?php if (function_exists('online_status')) online_status(); ?> somewhere in your template.
  7. Enjoy!
